PASTOR KEVIN & MELISSA DAVIS (LEAD PASTOR)

Kevin & Melissa Davis
 Raised in a Pastor's Home ...
Kevin Davis has been a pastor, associate pastor, youth pastor, preacher and teacher for over 35 years. He was raised in a pastor's home in Arkansas, graduating in 1987 from Clinton High School. In 1987 he enrolled at Arkansas State University—Beebe and met Melissa his wife of over 35 years. He is a 2002 graduate of Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, with a BA in Bible & Pastoral Ministries. In April of 2024, he completed training and was fully endorsed as a Community Chaplain by the Assemblies of God. 

Kevin & Melissa have three children, Adam, Jordan & wife Chelsea, and daughter Ashlyn. They are also the proud grandparents of Micah, Jaxon, Audrey, Cooper, & Adilyn.
Kevin & Melissa have been the lead pastors of First Assembly/Open Heart Assembly in Farmington since November of 2007. Pastor Kevin has a passion for declaring the truth of God's Word. He believes that Open Heart Assembly is a "Church for ALL Generations" and our mission is to "Reach the NEXT Generation" for the Lord, helping them to become committed disciples of Jesus Christ. In the spring of 2017, Pastor Kevin led the congregation in a name change from First Assembly of God to Open Heart Assembly.

Melissa, who is a licensed minister as well, has a heart for the community and serves as the church's Outreach Pastor as well as Women's Ministries Coordinator (Women of Worth--WOW). She is the church's Office Administrator, organizing the logistical aspects of the church. She received her Assemblies of God credentials in January of 2023. 

Being involved in the community is important to Kevin & Melissa as they lead the church in various outreaches at Jefferson Elementary and in the city of Farmington. He serves as the Treasurer for the Farmington Ministerial Alliance as well as the Assistant Presbyter for Park Hill's Area. He has spoken at various community events, and serves on several organizational committees. Melissa serves as the Coordinator for Loving Jefferson, the ministry of the church to Jefferson Elementary School. And she also coordinates Love Farmington which is the unified effort of eleven churches to reach out to the community with the help of Convoy of Hope & Rural Initiatives. Both Loving Jefferson & Love Farmington have been recognized with awards for their service to the schools in Farmington. The Davises were honored in 2019 as the Daily Journal/Farmington Press Citizen's of the Year.

They are honored to serve the great church family at Open Heart Assembly.



PASTOR BELTON & REBECCA NOLEN  
(FAMILY LIFE PASTOR)

Belton & Rebecca Nolen joined the ministerial staff at Open Heart Assembly in August of 2022. Belton attended Global university where he obtained credentials through the Assemblies of God. 

Belton was born and raised in Buckner, MO and Rebecca Independence, MO. 

They have known each other since 6th grade and graduated together from Fort Osage High School (Independence, MO) in 2007. They have been married since November 2008.They have served together in children's and young adult ministries and have a passion for reaching the next generation. 
Belton and Rebecca love doing life together. They enjoy fishing and board games. Belton enjoys playing guitar and singing and Rebecca's love language is cooking.

They serve nursery, children, youth and young adults here at Open Heart Assembly, seeking to lead them into a deeper relationship with the Lord and each other.

Sis. Jeanie has served our congregation for over 30 years as Secretary & as Bookkeeper since 2010. As of October 1, 2018, she retired from the secretarial position, but continues to serve at Open Heart Assembly as the Church Bookkeeper.



MARY MARLER
(CHURCH SECRETARY)

Sis. Mary serves our congregation as our Church Secretary. She brings to this position several years of experience in church administration at the local church level and currently serves as secretary for the Park Hills section.

She joined Open Heart Assembly in 2022.
